You may have seen a few months ago that Ning's parent company Glam Media was in the process of deciding on a new name to reflect its varied vertical reach. Today at the Digital Content Newfronts we made a very exciting announcement and we're happy to tell you that Glam Media is now Mode Media Corp.
Along with the name change comes some really exciting programs for original content including 10 new video series. You can find more information about the name change here.
What's Changing For Your Networks?
Just a word. "Ning | Glam Media" as it appears in your Ning 3.0 Dashboard Bar and "Ning | Glam Social" as it appears in the footer will change to "Ning | Mode Media Corp" and "Ning | Mode Social" respectively. You should see these changes roll out in the coming days.

Perhaps but there have been so many changes that we all need to see where it is going. Some may have no trouble handling forever increasing prices which are jumping higher at too great of a rate per change. Some of us are struggling hard to be able to afford it for a multitude of reasons, many of which are economy based and beyond our control. The point I am expressing is that we are all a bit impatient, and a bit apprehensive. Those may not be two human qualities which are considered to be optimum, but they exist regardless. Again I point out the fact that NCs simply need to feel understood, and reassured, instead of feeling pacified on one side, and fluffed off on the other, or considered a mere nuisance to to be impatiently responded to. Ahead of time I am not accusing anyone here of treating the NCs badly, I am simply trying to encourage a sense of understanding for the NCs so that they don't feel such a strong sense of duress. That would, after all, be treating them with cordiality, and respect. That would go a long way in having them respond with the same attitude in return.
Thank God I stopped a moment to read this. I just had to change the link lable on my footer. I made it so that I manually control it so the change for me was not automatic. LOL
Hi caro, my apologies, but I can't quite understand what you're looking for help with. If you need help with your network, can you submit a ticket so that our support team can assist you?
and she did adress the issue it only shows there when u have the pageset oprivate cause when private the footer is not seen at all
if u set to public its not shown there
when u see a car u like ulook for a label toi knowwhat kinda caqr u want to buy
it is essential to the business that when ppl see a network they like they can know where they can create 1 like it (platform not a carbon copy of your exact site)
if you want continuesd improvements nings got to grow to afford them
and growth isentirely dependent on being found
i used to work for libertynet (not sure it still exists) part odf the hosting requiremnents was to insert a
<!--#include virtual="/footer.html" -->
tag that said something like hostred by libertynet.org (as a link) and a dozenb or so lonks to the network info and categoiries of other sites we hostedthis footer helped our growth helped other organizations find us
and helped them find eachother
it was essentrial
and our only requirement as we hosted free provided nearly freee internet access (12 dollars a year) and free web design website strategy planning tech support u name it
all we required was that sites help us help others by includingt that footer with links
and it is an efective strategy
havent u realized yet..its not gonna happen
nah no need to delete lol and i understand ofcourse everyone would prefer it..
but after awhile it gets old toi hear it repeatted over and over and over
they know loud and clear that we want it..theres no need foir reminderes and nagging its not gonna help
just fills up space
Thank God.
I like the modest name. =)
