Network not launched yet issue

Due to the tech maintenance on one of our servers you may experience the following error when trying to access your network - "Network not launched yet".

We do apologize for the temporary inconvenience and our tech team is working hard in order to fix it ASAP.

We appreciate your patience in this matter and we'll notify everyone who emailed/called/texted us in Livechat about their network being down as soon as the issue is resolved.

We'll update you about this bug here on creators as well.

  • Anyone else getting the "Network not launched yet"?  We are.

      We do apologize for the inconveniences. Our developer is right now fixing your network so it should be back online shortly. Please if this issue would appear on your network once again (I hope that it won't happen but just in case) that would be better if you send us an email to suppor@ning.com or contact via LiveChat (for example you can go to ning.com and you will see the LiveChat button there), or if you call us USA/CAN 1-855-233-6436,1-866-992-0971 and UK 0-808-189-2035. Those phone numbers are toll-free so you can use Skype to call for free if you are calling from the other country (not USA, Canada or the United Kingdom). In such case, the issue would be resolved faster as our support agents working 24/7 and will be able to alert tech team in shortly after your report.

  • Glad to see the Team Chat working, though I still feel there is alot of room for improvement as many would agree.
    I personally did not like that on mobile the chat just appeared as an icon at the top, so I went ahead and manually removed that and instead replaced it with an image at the bottom that opens the Team Chat in a new window. Its not perfect but its better than the small icon that hardly anyone will see. 

    Please Ning - give us more option in designing things as we choose instead of changing things without our consent. And please bring back the ability to easily see which members are online in the preview of the chat. 

    This is what my layout looks like currently. The top bar is still there, but its just hidden since the page is scrolled down.

      Could you please specify a little what have you meant by writing "Please Ning - give us more option in designing things as we choose instead of changing things without our consent." by providing the small example of "designing things" should have been added by the default or you need in general in any feature so I could pass you feedback with the assurance that we are on the same page.

  • Is anyone else having issues with the preview images not being fetched properly for new entries when sharing on social media? This is a big issue. Kinda takes away the potential of a websites purpose when you are not able to share things properly to facebook.

    • When a member likes their profile page or anything else it always says they shared it on facebook - but, nothing is actually really shared.

      • Ya I noticed that too. That seems to be a separate issue then the preview images not being fetched properly.
