Hi there!
As I have promised in the previous announcement there would be scheduled maintenance due to server renovation.
We are planning to start on Thursday 14-th of September 7 am UTC and the works would last for 2 hours. Please note that networks won't be accessible at that period of time.
We do apologize for the temporary inconveniences.
Best regards,
Ning Team.

Hi there!
We do apologize for all the issues appeared on the platform, the things were better before the renovation of the hardware but as we have had to close the servers for the maintenance some issues have appeared after. Basically, the chat is working, however, as most functionality is based on the ability to search members not the full functionality is presented right now while the search is broken, as I see the report regarding this has been already passed to the tech team and your network has been included, unfortunately, some issues cannot be technically fixed in the blink of an eye and require investigations to spot the source of the issue itself. The issue with the videos has been reported as well already
Best wishes,
Ning Team.
Sounds like we are in the same boat. I couldn't have said it better myself. UGH
My videos have not played in over two weeks. All I get is tecs are working on it. How are can it be to stream video?
Hi, Gerard!
Yes, the issue with videos that you have reported is still in progress as I can see. Regarding the streaming, I have looked into this a bit, and as teh example, I have used youtube. For example, the stream could be embedded from there into the HTML box that you can place on any page of your network by using the iframe. The code would look like this:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/live_stream?channel=CHANNEL_ID&autoplay=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Instead of the CHANNEL_ID, it's necessary to put the id your channel, also &autoplay=1 isn't the obligatory, it simply makes the video player start playing when the page has been loaded, so this part of the code could be removed if you don't need that option. Unfortunately, I haven't checked other streaming services, but if they have the option to embed the stream somewhere it should be possible to embed them on the network.

I'm having the same problem with my 2.0 network. Posting messages - it takes the system a long time to complete the task and say "your message has been sent." It's the same when trying to approve members. mothersofinmates.org
Hi there!
As far as I see your network has been already added to the report regarding this issue. Once the tech team would release the fix we will contact you back via email. Please accept our apologies for the temporary inconveniences.
Best regards,

Still having problems with replying to a discussion http://allaboutwriting.ning.com/group/how-to-write-a-screenplay-jun.... Please, when will this be fixed. It is extremely frustrating and we look unprofessional!
Thanks
Trish
Hi, Trish!
Thanks for keeping us updated regarding the issue on your network, and yes the fix hasn't been released as the tech team is still in the process of the fix, everything that I have been able to get is that such a delayed loading is related to the activity feed somehow which affects the loading speed when the network creates the content like reply, blog post etc.
As I have mentioned before when there would be the fix released I'll let you know so you would be able to check whether it has taken the necessary effect on your network.
Apologies that it's taking so long to release the fix.
Best wishes,
Ning Team.
