  Thanks James for your comment on mine earlier. That is very much appreciated. I am actually not sure that we will be remaining with Ning after 18months;and we have a parallel site that may also have to be merges, along with one or two other initiatives.

  But the next year is crucial to the success of this project, and so I am am willing to pay something to get this current site licked into better shape, for so long as we ARE here, to prepare for the change.

  PS; do  I understand right that you are in Chester, England?

  I am going to neeed some skilled help with re-design of my current site (http://pielink.ning.com/) which really isn;t working as a social network ( it is working as a library!). I have a small budget ( a couple of thou English pounds)

  Can anyone suggest a suitable designer?
