    • Hi there!

      There is no such option at the moment, but it seems to be cool to have such option as the default one, so I have passed your feedback to teh management and I hope they would decide to something like this.

      At the moment, for example, you can use below header add box in order to post this warning message, but if you don't wish to change something that you have there, you can also post something like this in head section on the custom code tab.

      <div style="font-size:14px; background-color:red; width:100%; color:white; text-align: center; line-height: 24px;">WARNING! The site would be offline from XXXX to XXXX for maintenance</div>

      Please note that by using the code approach this message would be posted on every page of your network.

      Best regards,

      Ning Team.

      • Kyryl, I'm still checking around as I ask this but ... is there a way to access this below header box for the message area, where members type emails? For example, since using an emoticon currently surrenders a hideous page of error code, I wanted to possibly add some warning text in this area. Going to keep looking, but let me know! Thanks!

        • Hi, Jeff!

          Unfortunately, bellow header box isn't loading on the messages page (I hope I get your question right) but if you were talking about the page where the members of your network are composing the messages to each other, you can do something like this:

          3240055?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

          with the following code, which should be inserted in the Custome CSS in the design studio.

          #xj_label_message:after {
          content: "Warning, don't use emojis please (this text could be changed)";
          display: block;
          color: red;
          line-height: 1.8em;
          font-size: 8pt;
          }

          The color of teh message, the message itself could be changed for anything you wish, also you can change the font size if necessary.

          But for some reason, I have the feeling that you could have meant something else. Just let me know if I have misunderstood you.

          Best regards,

          Ning Team.

          • Would it be possible to use this code or something similar to place some html or text at the top of the MY PAGE>About section?

            Thanks.

            • Hi there!

              You cannot use exactly this one, as the CSS is not allowing to insert HTML on pages, however you can accomplish this with the javascript.

              Best regards,

              Ning Team.

          • This works, as offered. I want to thank you for giving me a chance to triage this bummer reality until the team can make the pain go away. Much thanks. :-) :-(
