  Hi Perrie,

  I have a special version of the Smileys app that doesn't use Photobucket, see here: http://jqueryhelp.ning.com/forum/topics/try-smileys-version-6-for-t... If you start seeing the ugly Photobucket image, I have a fix, contact me at my site if you need it.

  We have an amazing app that adds a Profile Textbox to Ning 3 Profile pages, allowing members to put whatever text and HTML in there, and edit it whenever they want.  It also allows members to enter custom CSS to make their page look exactly like they want it to look.  Further, it comes with a Theme Library where members can change the look of their page just by clicking a checkbox.  Not many themes available yet but we expect to have many more in the future as we make more themes and others make themes for our app too!

  I do not have it running yet, with a three month old my time is so limited right now, another reason this is upsetting to me.  Here is a site I am on that is using it right now.  Looks like they will be switching to a new platform though:

  Since most of our content is already on Wordpress, we may try this out:  http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress/

  It seems to have all the features of Ning 3.0 at a lower operating cost and more features that can be added.
