Dear Network Creators,
Social interaction and sharing have always been at the core of NING’s product. That is why we have implemented a new design for social sharing/liking and added brand-new sharing functionality that will help you promote your content across different social media platforms more efficiently.
From now on, you can share content through Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Viber, Email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Also, sharing options that existed before were optimized in terms of performance, which has had a positive effect on the page loading speed.
To manage your sharing options, simply go to Social Site Manager > Social Sharing.
Checking the boxes will activate the corresponding sharing icons below your posts on pages, such as Blog, Articles, Photo, Video, etc., as well as member profile pages, group pages, and blog bundles (given that the excerpt length is set to “Full text”).
Please note: For sharing options to be displayed, the content has to be set as public in the Privacy settings. Otherwise, the sharing options won't be available.
We hope that the new sharing functionality will bring more value and engagement to your online community!
If you have any questions or feedback regarding the feature, please feel free to let us know!

Hello!
Thank you for bringing our attention to this.
I've checked the page you have sent previously and it seems like it takes almost 2 seconds to load social buttons.
I will inform our tech team about that and we will see how that can be improved.
Thanks.

Alex

Awesome...Its adds that "something missing" to the picture.
Thankyou Ning
Paul.
Thanks for the additions. Is it possible to include it in the Design Studio, so we can adjust the size of the icons for example ?
Hello Marco!
Not at the moment, but our team will check if this is possible.
Thank you for the feedback!
Best regards,
The NING Team
Would have been nice if you had told us beforehand you where doing this as I presume this is what caused all the issues we have been having with our networks the last few weeks especially the one where it was constantly waiting for Facebook which stopped our sites from loading as can see now it was the implementation of this which was causing it.
By the way we had not one comment from Ning on the forum about the problems we have been having even though there have been reports on the forum and also tickets sent in, again of which no mention about what was causing the problems or to say everything had been fixed etc.
Hello!
The recent issues on the platform were not caused by this update. Please accept our apologies, we will address this problem in our next announcement that will come out in the nearest time.
Best regards,
The NING Team
Exactly...
