  Hi Ken-- We are working hard behind the scenes to give you and your members an awesome experience when it comes to profiles. We recently just launched the ability to post status updates directly from the Main page. While this doesn't exactly relate to the profiles page, it's a step in the right direction! I invite you to check out Ning's Product Roadmap if you're interested in seeing changes and upcoming updates we're making to the Ning Platform.

  Funny you mention a newsletter/digest feature, I'm actually working on that right now. In doing so, I'm wondering what NCs would like to see in such a feature, and wondering if you have some good examples of digests/newsletters you already receive.

  Ken, like Jen, I really love the layout on http://www.summitsherpas.com/. Particularly, I like what you did with the Notes feature. I had never found a use for it until I saw your example of how it can be used. Now, if I may be so bold, may I ask a question? I believe you show only the links by selecting the show featured and featuring the notes that you want to show up. However, I'm at a lost as to how you keep the 'Created by" section from showing up. Can you help me with that or point me to where I can learn?
