Current status of the Ning Platform is always available on the Ning Status Blog.

One of the prospective member of my network (http://culytics.com) is getting this message when trying to access it.

What is the solution, while I wait for ning to support https.

Is the solution to buy godaddy ssl certificate? Is Standard SSL DV enough? Do I need to get it for subdomains as well?

  • Everyone still has to wait until Ning updates their platform to be https/ssl compatible.  IMHO should have taken care of this many months ago already- a major paid platform ought not be behind the times like this. Maybe older ning customers are used to such foot dragging, but new paying customers expect compatibility from the getgo.

  • Any update on this. THis is becoming a big issue for us.
