Twitter/Facebook buttons?

Does anyone know how to integrate one of those small banners that has buttons and links to Twitter / Facebook / RSS etc? I tried using a Twitter button generator, got the code and pasted in a text box on my homepage but the image did not show up, I only got the link. In any case I would rather have a banner where the logos are all side by side. Seems like everyone is doing this and just do not know how to do it! Thanks for any advice, Nico

Thanks Carrie! I have added this and it works. Actually I also am looking for those "Follow us on..." logos, that's what I meant originally, although I really appreciate the referral to ShareThis.
