On our site new events can be posted by any member, but must be approved before they appear. A member posted a new event and the site creator approved it. Unfortunately now the Content Management section on the Admin toolbar continues to indicate there is something that needs moderation despite the fact there is nothing to moderate (see attached screenshot).
Is this glitch limited to our site, or is it a Ning wide glitch? If our site does anyone know how to fix it?

Well, whatever was going on appears to have been fixed (or fixed itself).
