Creating a Footer with the Tools Given?

Hi there,
Just wanting to know if there's the chance to create a footer for network I7m creating. Happy wih the template I'm using etc but can't see how to create a simple footer with the tools provided. Not wanting to pay for what I believe should be there for a framework of this nature.
