Date of articles

Date of articles.
Anybody here can help me to find how to show or to see the date of an article? or even when an article was modified.
As I can see in the dashboard>>site and pages>>articles, there is no way to handle this feature.
Quite strange that there is no way to show the date when a certain article was published.

I received an answer from the Ning support:
The date of the articles is only shown while editing the article for now.
I've asked the tech team to make it the way that the articles' dates are shown in viewing mode.

The show Author tick box has nothing to do with showing the dates, that just puts a little description about the member. Yes on Articles there is no info to show when an article was posted, how ever there is a way to show these details by using the Add Content on a page, then choose where the data is coming from ie your Articles page then decide how many to show, this will give the information of when and who posted the Article, it will display like the parts Rosa is pointing to in how image with the heading he put as blog. That is the only way you can do it.

Articles are quite different from blog post.
The article by Bizz that you mention refer to to blog post not to articles.

The ning Team can't do your job, it's up to you to add the categories and enable the view counter as explained by  Bizz
