In June our website was sending out email notifications of new members joining. As of today that doesn't appear to be happening. Is that just a short term Ning issue? Could I have accidntly disabled that function (if yes where does the control hide?)?
Any suggestions/help will be appreciated.

Today notification emails about new members suddenly started aooearing again.

You should check the Email Digest settings on the members -> email settings page, which is at /main/admin/emailControls.
In case you'd need some help you could take a look at those articles: one, two.
Also, there should be a settings page for the emails on the "my page -> options -> edit profile" page, which is at /main/profilesettings/email. (click-me)

If you see this,,,Everything you mentioned has been checked and then double checked. The new member emails that appeared to start again have stopped again.
If anyone is paying attention...The new member notification emails are now being sent again....almost. My primary admin account is receiving the new member requests, but not the new member approved emails. Is this a glitch in my account or is it possible the sysem deoen't send the admin that approved the membership the new member notification email?
