Hi there, I'm still running a couple 2.0 networks, and would love to have a better way to create a blog for my site. Such as:
instead of every one of my member's blogs showing up there.
I currently have renamed a Page to mysite.com/blog but that doesn't really create RSS-friendly posts - I just create a new sub page any time my community newslettter is posted to the "blog."
SEO being what it is, it would benefit my site greatly to have a mysite.com/blog with dated URls for my posts. Any idea how I can accomplish this ? There must be something obvious I'm not thinking to try :(

Anyone have an idea for this?
I can think of two ways to do this off the top of my head....since you are concerned with SEO..
I would create a Blogger blog and style it to match your community. Then take the RSS feed of that blog and make a widget using Feedwind . Now create a page and name the URL /blog then add the widget to it with a little explainer at the top. This way you get the backlinks from the blogger blog (owned by google) and you can have your blog as a satellite of the community...may get extra 'juice' if you ran the RSS feed through feedburner first....that would also give you the ability to add a subscribe by email box to the page...
Secondly, 2.0 has a Notes section yoursite.com/notes... you can use that to host blog posts which are interconnected....
Let me know if that sounds doable and if you need any help setting it up..hope this helps!
