How To: Turn Your Network into A Desktop Application

Here is a cool and quick time-saving tip for the NC on the move. If you are using Google Chrome (which you should be-hint hint), turn YOUR NETWORK into a desktop application in 2 simple steps:

1) Load http://yournetwork.ning.com in your browser and Click on the wrench icon on the top right side of browser, hover over Tools
2) Click the option for Create Application Shortcut and press save and you're done!

I did this for my network Land Surveyors United and it works like a charm...enjoy!

If you are using Firefox you can use Prism.

Thanks Garfield. I thought about it and realized I had done something very similar with Miro. Difference being you have to open Miro to access your network, the Chrome app (and I assume Prism) provides a desktop icon you can click and access.
