The star votes are seeming to not being appearing when the comments list adds more comment pages, so when the comments reach it's limit to then add another page off comments the list loses the star votes. If another page is not added then they stay.
EXAMPLE 1
Here is a list of comments and as you can see their are star votes on the bottom most post
Now if we add another couple of posts so another page is added the star do not show, even if another member has them on page one, so if we go back to page one using the pagination at the bottom no stars will show for anyone on page one
This was tested on a clean site of no custom code or css added so it's a Ning issue and nothing to do with any added code.
