Considering "live stream" is where it's at on social media. Is Ning looking at updating to the current social media standard? The majority of social media have live streaming. If not, can you allow integrating with other streaming apps. It would make Ning more attractive. Not knocking Ning but we are being the times as it pertains to chat and live streaming.

Hi Gerard,
As I know management has already thought about the streaming on Ning. So far, they lean towards the integration of some platforms, however, the final decision hasn't been made yet. I hope they will return to this question later as right now we are concentrated on the development of the social aspects of the platform, as they seem to be more important for the social network.
At this point, you can only embed the stream into your network. For example, I have tested the embedding of the scream with the youtube and it worked perfectly. In addition, you'll be able to use "Social channel" functionality to automatically insert the videos from your youtube channel (recorded broadcasts would appear automatically on your network what is plus). Also, I have seen one of the creators have been using this service https://huzzaz.com, unfortunately, I haven't had enough of time to test it out :-(
Best wishes,
Ning Team.
I asked that you finish working on the Ustream platform that has been the leader for years. But you will not even do it for the video section. You guys still need to fix that and its such a minor fix. #nopressure
Hi there!
Regarding the minor changes to the platform. As usual, management is trying to include them in the bigger changes to the same functionality, such approach is allowing to save a lot of the time for developers that they could spend on other tasks, and as the result of long-run more features would be changed or implemented.
Just decided to share with you some insights so you would have the full picture of what we are doing here and how we are thinking :-)
Best wishes,
Ning Team.
