Hello everyone i'm pretty new to this style of stuff but I'm trying really hard to create a good website. I was wondering if any of you could help me with my request. I want to include a message and friend request notification button or link on the body of my site, on there user's profile page. I want the button to tell the user they have a message or friend request with a number beside it.

The Ning bar at the top of your site will all ways show up no matter what page you are on and if you have a message or friend request these little icons will display a number of how many, when you click on the icons a list will show up of messages or friend requests.
To add the counts into a profile page can be done if needed but that will take a little bit of custom code to do.

Hello thanks for the reply sorry i haven't gotten back to you i just got off work. Yes i know about the ning bar, but i was wanting it on the body, would you happen to know any code to do this?
