First, I know basic html, but some of the other coding I've seen suggested for other creator issues is way beyond what i know how to do...
I want to center the links on my navigation bar, and maybe even have the home link all the way to the left, and the rest centered...how do i do this?
Also, I want to add a sign up block or something that's easier to find...is there a content block I can add?

The navigation menu is centered by the default in its container, if possible could you please share the screenshot where with arrows it would be shown where you wish to place teh navigation so I could understand your question a bit better?
Unfortunately, due to security reasons, the content from sign up or sign in pages cannot be placed on the other pages (well technically you can place the code from that pages in teh HTML module but they are not going to work in a proper way). However, you can create the HTML module with the links to the Sign-up/Sign in pages on the home page if needed.
