NING Support,

Our NING site has been having issues for weeks. We thought it was the system upgrades that are chronicled here: https://creators.ning.com/announcements-from-ning/apologies-for-the-recent-network-instability, but over the weekend, we started to see issues with people not being able to upload pictures. Now it appears that the only triggers which work are hyperlinks. ALL of the control buttons we've tested fail silently.

How this effects users:

  • They can't sign out.
  • They can't add events or send messages to guests on existing events or promote events via invite.
  • They can't add discussions.
  • They can't upload images
  • They can't use any of the drop-downs in any of the menus to do anything.

My admin team and several users have tested the site on Internet Explorer, EDGE, Chrome, Brave and Firefox. Everything fails in all browsers.

I have opened support ticket 1943027 for this.  Our site is neovictoria.ning.com.

  • On further review, the issue now appears to be restricted to users that did not log out of the site before the weekend.  We just tested with several accounts that haven't logged in to the site since we migrated and the GUI works for them.  I will update our support ticket with the names of the accounts having the trouble.
