  • We have that on Ning 2. It's not on NIng 3?

    • Hi Steve,

Yep, there is no such option on Ning 3.0. As I have seen from the documentation it wasn't used widely so previous decided that it's not one the important features that should be released from the start. If necessary I can add the suggestion to add such feature on Ning 3.0 to our list of ideas, just let me know :-)

      Best wishes,

      Ning Team.

      • Hi Kyryl,

A profanity filter is extremely important for my site.

        • why don't you just use the language editor.

          • Hi there!

The language editor cannot replace some words in the post/comment just after it was posted. Also, administration of the site is not able to change the text of comments made by the members.

            Best regards,

            Ning Team.

            • Thanks for the suggestion, Elshara, but Kyryl is right. The language editor doesn't affect what members post, unfortunately.

It's an important tool to have, Kyryl, because we get new members posting offensive things just to cause problems in the community. But I know you folks have a lot on your plate, so when we move to Ning 3, I'll just add another moderator or two.

              Thanks

        • Hi there!

Thanks for your feedback, Steve/ I have added your suggestion to add such functionality to our platform, once the management would make any decision I'll let you know. However, I doubt that this suggestion would get a high priority, but it's only my personal opinion the management could have another one :-)

          Best wishes,

          Ning Team.
