Hello. I am new here and very happy to have found you all.
I have a very serious problem that prompted me to connect with this group.
One of my "members" on my social network has been having someone delete all of her videos, blogs, etc. on every location she has them (YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, to name a few places), except my "ning" site as of yet.
Is there a way I can save her videos and pictures for her?
And am I at risk of somehow jeopardizing my site since this "attacker", who she feels is a person, not a computer, by still having this person's file stay on my site? I'd like to save her vlogs and pictures, if I can, before I delete her file and have her start anew.
I hope someone can help, and very quickly.
Thanks,
Cheryn

Tell her to go on someone else's computer and change her password. Sounds like she got a virus and someone captured her password.
Other than that I think she's out of luck :0(

Thanks. I have given her your advice.

Hi Cheryn,
Like Mark and Phil have said she needs to change her passwords on every site she is having a problem with. ... And they need to be different and fairly secure (not the same or something like 1 2 3 4 ) Someone has "hacked" hers and is messing with her. Someone maybe that has a personal conflict with her?
James
Great advice. Thanks so much.
I still am not sure how, or even if, I can change my settings to be encrypted https. Any more suggestions. I really appreciate your help.

Hi James.
Thanks for your help. She's the sweetest girl; it's hard to think someone would be out to mess with her like this.
I asked Phil this question, but would like to ask you, too. About the Archive Tool. I did back them all up. Please explain to me how I would use those backed up files now.
