I am not sure if anyone on this network has posted information on how to stop images from hotlinking. If a code is available to use on Ning networks, please let me know. Thanks.

What do you mean by hotlinking ? Please explain further. Thanks
When a url is generated from an uploaded image on your network, someone can copy the image url and place it on another website. When they do that, it uses your bandwidth since you are hosting the image. This is called hotlinking.
you should be able to disable right click with jquery....
Debbie if you use cloudflare on your site https://cloudflare.com, then they have an app to disable hotlinking or remote linking on your website. Also known as No Right Click. They have a ton of apps that you can see once you config your site, it is free and it gives you a free ssl universal cert to use.
Thank you. I will check out the site.
Thank you. I am presently using a script to disable right click, however; it doesn't disable with touch screens, when long holding on images.
