Unarguably one of the most important aspects of any design is its colors. Designers create the style of a site, as well as the movement it makes, the emotion it creates, and its purpose based largely upon the color choices they make. I would like to create a small forum discussion series about color palettes and have the community post feed back. Each post in the small series will come with a color palette like the one below.
Experiment with the colors on your website or test site and post screen shots of your results. It will be very interesting to see how each individual NC uses the colors in their design.

Yes, I love that site! Another color resource I like is Dribble. When you view any of the projects, they supply the color palettes. It's a very inspirational website.

click Create and check out Select a Rule...gives you palettes according to the various "rules" of color management.....also lets you save a palette once you've created it...think I have a couple saved on the site (Navy and Blue Angels) !!!
