TIP: A GDPR Compliance Pop-Up for Your Community

Everyone who runs communities which operate in European countries should update their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to reflect the transparency of their communities.   But what about new visitors to your site?  They must agree to your use fo cookies.   The following GDPR compliance popup can be installed after you update your PP and ToS.

This is what it looks like and all the code you need.   In the HTML replace YOURSITE with your site url...

 

For 2.0, add the HTML portion to your footer box, the CSS inside your design studio Advanced CSS box and the JS to your custom code/analytics box and wrap it inside <script> tags.

For 3.0, add the HTML portion to your footer inside sites and pages.  Add the CSS to your design studio and then add the JS to your Custom Code (bottom) and wrap it inside <script> tags.

Thank YOU!!!  I love it!! Even I was able to install this pop up and I musta done a good job- because now it pops up again and again and again... anytime you change page or click anything it pops up...

What did I do wrong? and how do I correct this?
