Current status of the Ning Platform is always available on the Ning Status Blog.

A number of years ago, if you tried to make a mobile app that would link to your network and make access easier for your members, it was difficult to do...wouldn't work on multiple platforms and would often break some codes (not to mention that our sites weren't responsive...so they looked terrible anyhow).

Well, if you haven't heard...times have changed!

With 3.0, we finally have a truly responsive platform that looks great on mobile and most mobile browsers now have the ability to save a shortcut to the Home Screen. I'm sure a lot of you know this...but have you shared it with your members?

Here's a little something I whipped up for my sites to let members know that they can make a link on their desktop / laptop, tablet or mobile device. Feel free to use it for your own.

Enjoy,

FT

No matter the platform or device you use, you can create a shortcut on your desktop or mobile device for quick access to the community!

On your desktop or laptop computer, just drag our URL to your desktop.

For your mobile device or tablet, find the option to add a shortcut to your Home Screen in your menu options. Here's an example from Google Chrome.
