Our last newsletter, emailed fortnightly, was only received by some members of our network. It looks as if those who did not receive it all used Virgin Media for their mailer, but ordinary notifications are received ok by these people, so the problem is only with broadcast messages. Any suggestions for how to deal with this?
A more longstanding problem with broadcast messages concerns any images included in them - these will only be displayed in the email if they are stored on an external server. Those on the Ning server are not displayed! If you click on the image place-saver in the email, you get the message 'Permission Denied'. (the image displays ok on the Broadcast message page).
Many thanks for any suggestions.

Hi there!
The broadcast messages and regular notifications could be sent from different mailing servers, and the IP for broadcasts could be blocked for some reason on the side of Virgin Media. In order to make sure it's necessary to make sure that the IPs which starts from 208.82.16.* are not blocked on their side anyhow.
The second issue you have mentioned is related to the new storage functionality and as far as I can see your network has been already included in the bug report. So when the changes to the storage logic would be made we will inform you about this via email.
Best regards,
Ning Team.
Many thanks for your explanations, Kyryl. I will check the first issue out (and it was useful to have the second one clarified).
Virgin Media say that these IP addresses are not blocked by them.
Sorry, I've just spoken to somebody else at Virgin Media who gave me a totally different story. It'll take a week for them to check if the IPs have been blocked.
