Hi there!
At the moment members are able to create Groups and Their personal profiles, the groups are basically small networks with some restrictions, so basically groups functionality could be used for this purposes, please note that the styles could be inserted into the text boxes, what means that with the certain skills they could even modify the design (not only the layout and the location of the modules on the page).
Even the member's profile could be used to create some sort of the page for business, but if you have let's say businesses and regular member's that wouldn't work.
At the moment, I haven't seen in plans any functionality with such name, if explain it a bit more, like what should be available for those business profiles, what sort of modifications of their profiles they should be able to do etc. I'll be able to take a look at the suggestions from another point of view as the functionalities that you would mention could have been suggested separately, so in total, they will fit your goal.
So I'm looking for your reply :-)
Best regards,
Ning Team.
Hi John!
Great example, I haven't thought the blogs could be used that way, so thanks for sharing :-).
Regarding the paid access itself, it grants you access to the specific content (well at the moment it could be the blog, article and just this week the ability to charge for the membership has been added). Unfortunately paid access cannot be used in the way you have described, but there will be the way around. When it would be possible to charge for the membership in groups, you can just create the paid group and use blogs from there, or assign manually the category to every member of that group so they could add blog posts in the specific instance. With the release of the Member ranking system the range of the possibilities how this could be done will be wider.
Best regards,
Ning Team.
great idea Bizz..
This tip may help you as well..
