It is possible for the member to change category if he can get 1,000 points. But that this process is automatic?

Unfortunately, members ranking system cannot assign the category to the member automatically depends on the number of points earned, so I have created the suggestion to add such functionality to MRS and once it would be reviewed by the management I'll let you know about their decision.
However, if you assign a category to a member you will be able to choose who can contribute on the photos page by selecting the necessary category or categories.

I don't even know if there's a way to display a list of members based on their achievement status and sort through all of them in the order they received such awards.
