Comments appearing in activity feed

Is there anyway to make comments from one member's profile to another appear on the activity feed. I remeber this used to be an option on 2.0, maybe even 3.0 a while back before they redid the activity feed, but not anymore. This shows a lot of the activity going on in my site and I'd like to have it back I'd possible.

    Yes, this is one of several problems with the Activity Feed in Ning 3.0!
