Do You Ping?

Two years back, I discovered something in my profile settings at my network. It's a link to Ping-O-Matic, and we all have it (I believe it's available to members too). You can find it by clicking on Settings, then Privacy.

See that red lettering that reads "site update services"? Click on that.

What I want to know is does anyone use Ping-O-Matic, or any of the other similar services on the internet. Has it done anything for your blog? Does anyone use these blog pinging sites?
