Domain Mapping Issues

I made my best attempt at following the instructions and mapping my domain on godaddy to my ning site...with the www., it takes me to a 404 missing page...without the www., instead of taking me to the main page, it takes me to my ning log-in page...then when i go directly to my ning site, it also takes me to ning log-in...how do i change these?

I'm not sure if it matters, but i also forwarded my domain to the ning site...
