NC for Hire

A while back I showed you how to

Change the Out-going Twitter Text for Shared Items

and after clicking on the tweet option (for example on a group) it would look like this:

Now That's The Wrong Way to Do It.

But today I am going just a tab bit deeper and tell you that Twitter's algorthym has changed slightly, so placing the @name at the beginning of the post is less effective than if you were to place it later in the post.  When your post begins with @Name it is only seen in the streams of people who are following both you and the @Name.  For this reason it is important to change this part in your Language Editor:

So NOW your otgoing Tweets will looklike this automatically when a member tweets your content:

  • The two examples look the same to me. Where is the change?

  • maybe is me but I do not get it!

  • NC for Hire

if it were important to you, you'd see the difference.   the farther back into a tweet message that you place the @name the better it is for you in respect to search

    • Yes but your screen shots are identical - so there is no way to see the change!

    • sorry about that...it is important to me but I could not see the difference...
