NING: Problems with loading large portrait photos getting turned to landscape, please fix!

Ok so I htought it was just my site but I have tested this on another members so it's not just mine. It is a problem with blogs cover photos as when you upload a large portrait photo it gets turned into a landscape photo in all display of it and ther is no where to adjust it. I have tested this with smaller sized portrait photos and all works ok.

I have tested this in all browsers and only chrome shows them correct. Here are some images to show the issue.
