Hi creators!
Does anyone know if it's possible to create a script in order to download an updated CSV of your community everytime that a new member joins?
You need to be a member of Ning Creators Social Network to add comments!
Current status of the Ning Platform is always available on the Ning Status Blog.
Some interesting articles related to community management, digital marketing etc. could be found in our digest. Don't hesitate to leave a feedback so we would know that we should continue :-)

As an admin, you should be able to just use this URL to download the data anytime

Hi J, thanks!
no problem bud..
Hi Giovanni,
Yes, the most recent CSV file with the members' data could be downloaded by the link, however, you should note that updated CSV file gets formed only after you have entered the dashboard pressed the button Export All Member Data (.CSV), and then "OK". If this isn't done you will download the file that has been formed previously if you follow the link.
Best regards,
Ning team.
Hi Kyryl,
Yes, I am aware of it.
My questions was exactly related to this step.
Is it actually possibile to script the "enter the dashboard, press the button Export All Member Data (.CSV), and then "OK"." and downlad an always updated csv automatically?
Don't you guys think that would be much better always download the latest version through the link JFarrow posted?
Hi Giovanni,
Thanks for the suggestion, I'm not sure actually whether the formation process of the CSV file has been made so on purpose or not, anyway I have created the report based on your question and passed it to the management, I'll inform you about the results when the case would be reviewed.
About the automation on this stage, in order to upload the CSV file with members' data, it would be necessary to create the bot I suppose which would have the admin profile, or that would be entering the network from the profile of NC, and performing necessary actions.
Maybe it's also possible to do with the script but I'm not sure about that.
Best regards,
Ning team.
