NC for Hire

To some this may seem obvious but i see plenty of NCs who have no idea what to do with their RSS feed modules within a group. I mentioned once before how to hack a Bing search URL to create a feed to input into that module, but i think we'll all agree that it is best to keep members on the site, so this much better.

First go to your videos or photos page and search for a tag related to a group you have on your ning.  You'll get a URL like this:

http://landsurveyorsunited.com/video/video/listTagged?tag=topcon

or

http://yourning.com/video/video/listTagged?tag=YOURTAG

Scroll down to the bottom and look for the RSS Icon >  right click and Copy URL

Place that URL in the field inside the RSS module of your group.  If you choose to "show details" you'll have a nice thumbnail of the video or photo to click on..

Now members of your group stay on your site longer...

BOOM!  You're a genius!
