Hi all,
Quick tip in response to the request here: adding a paypal donate button under the profile avatar on member pages. Apologies if this is elsewhere, couldn't find it with a quick search.
Grab your Paypal Donate code from the Paypal page here - there are various options but I went with the button with no cards showing.
Place the Paypal code where I have highlighted in red below and make sure all line breaks are closed (that bit is important).
<!-- Paypal after Profile Pic Pointless Copyright SweetPotato-->
<script type="text/javascript">
x$('.module_user_thumbnail').after('<div style="text-align:center;margin-top:5px;margin-bottom:5px"><form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post"><input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_donations"><input type="hidden" name="business" value="email@gmail.com"><input type="hidden" name="lc" value="GB"><input type="hidden" name="item_name" value="Name"><input type="hidden" name="no_note" value="0"><input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="GBP"><input type="hidden" name="bn" value="PP-DonationsBF:btn_donate_LG.gif:NonHostedGuest"><input type="image" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_GB/i/btn/btn_donate_LG.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal — The safer, easier way to pay online."><img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1"></form></div>');
</script>
Once you've amended the code with your own paypal donate code (the bit in red!), paste it in your custom code box (not css).
Result:
code also attached as a text file
Enjoy.

I assumed it had been done and didn't want to step on toes, but couldn't find it so put it up. It's a rehash of an older tip to be honest.

it does also sort of suggest you'd be donating to the member not the NC but nevermind :-)
I thought that but can the paypal donate button be changed or is that against paypal's T&C's do you think?
