We need this in Ning 3.

This feature  is so important for 2 reasons.

1.- Personal Welcome Message (user name mentioned)

2.- New users  are invited to be part of the community with the most important features.

Like any new member, after you register you are somewhat lost and do not know where to start. Also, if there is no welcome message (mentioning your name) it takes more time to  the new member feel in community.

 

I wish to have this feature in Ning 3.

Hello,

We have the default welcome email that includes the name of the member and the features he or she can use on the site.

And you can customize the Welcome Message on the Ning 3.0 platform.

You can do this in Members- Message Templates.
