Hello to all this community. Just a quick question I could not figure out alone: Is there a way I can limit the number (And saize) of uploaded photos by the members of my ning 3.0 network? That would be extremely useful in order to reduce the memory for my ning site. I would like to know if there may be a hack for this or if not I would like to add this to feature request...Thanks! :-)

I'm sure there's a way, although I can't say that I've seen it. If you can't locate it with a search, you may have to inquire in the 'Hire a Creator' group https://creators.ning.com/group Good luck!

Silly question but have you emailed the person who abuses the privilege and told him/her to limit their # of uploads per day to ______. (whatever)? I know it's juvenile but I've had success just doing that. Some people need to get away from their computers, go out and get a life! lol

Sorry but there is no way to limit the amount or size of photos that one member could upload by using the native Ning features.
There is only one limitation we have, the photo cannot be bigger than 20MB.

not knowledgeable about NING3 (never changed over, thankfully), but for those wondering and if anyone happens upon this discussion while searching, NING2.0 still allows limitations on number of uploads allowed per person per day, but not in total over time - - under Content / Control
