Paid Content, Pay Wall

I am trying to setup a page on my site with paid content and I have read everything I can find from Ning about setting it up. I have successfully setup my paywall and the best way I can find to put in the paid content is under a blog post with seperate category set as paid items. Then I go in and enter the blog post and select the paywall and category for content and save to site. However, the content can be clicked on and downloaded and the person is never cued to pay for the item and content.

Has anyone else successfully setup paid content? Can anyone give me some advice?

Thank you in advance,

Julia

  • Hello!

I can try helping you to set up a paid content. I just tried testing an access to the paid article "Emerging Technology for Patients with Cognitive Impairment" for a random member and it worked well - member was asked to proceed with a payment.

Could you please specify the email address of the member who was able to open an article without paying? You can send me a private message if you do not want to share this info publicly.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Best regards,

    The NING Team
