I have a network for photographers, and would like to encourage a dispute with prize money, for the most engaged. For this to work, who get's more points would win this prize.
What's the problem?
The problem is, I need to have control of how many photos each member posts per day. Limit for example for 10 photos per day.
So I can work with this system.
It would be stupid to do a mark-up action on a system where there is no control to gain points per day. A member can simply select 100 photos on the computer and get the prize
For daily engagement, control is needed.
And that is not the only reason.
Once the member feels like he's in running for something, he's more engaged, he's spend more time on the site, he's been back a few times a week. It's a way to make it work.
Other wise a reward system means nothing. couse I can get 1000 points in 5 seconds and anyone can do this.

We had control in old 2.0 websites but there is none with 3.0. At least there wasn't as of last years discussion on this. https://creators.ning.com/forum/topics/can-i-limit-number-of-photos...
This needs to be added to our wish list of improvements........if it hasn't already.
You could try to reach out to the Creators shown in that discussion and see if they were ever able to resolve it. Sorry :(

The suggestion to add the ability to limit the number of photos which could be uploaded by the members per day has been already posted, but I cannot see that any decision has been made regarding it.

Since the works under the new storage functionality are not finished yet management is not able to make a final decision regarding your request to implement the limits on photo per day uploads. When new system would be completely implemented they will get back to this question.
