  • Hi there!

Could you please add me as the developer of your third-party integration app so I could take a look what is wrong?

To do that just open your app on the facebook, at the left side of the screen you will see the button roles press it, then at the middle of the screen, you will see the button "add developer" please click it and in the popup that would appear please insert my facebook id 100014908511509. When it's done please let me know.

    Best wishes,

    Ning Team.

    • Hi Kyryl,

      • Hi there!

I have checked the settings of the app you have shared with me and I can see that it is an app for sign in/sign up. Not sure if you have accidentally provided me with an access to the wrong app, or just were not aware that it is necessary to create 2 different apps - one for sign in/up and one for 3rd party integration.

Just in case I will leave here instructions for the 3rd party integration app:

        - Press "+Add New app" button at the top right corner of the screen

        - On the next screen choose the name of the app, for example, you can use your network's name or something else and don't forget to enter contact email address, and press "Create App id"

        - After you have filled the captcha at the left side of the screen you will see the menu. Please press "Settings" button.

        - On the next screen you will see the settings of your app, however, you should take a look on the left side of the screen once again and press "Basic". It would be located just under the "Settings" button that you have found in the previous step

        - Fill in "Privacy Policy URL" and "Terms of Service URL" fields with link of your Network + /main/authorization/termsOfService (for example http://example.ning.com/main/authorization/termsOfService)

        - Then you should open “Advanced” settings just under “Basic”, scroll down the page a little and find "Allow API Access to App Settings" and turn it on, save changes

        - Choose "App review" from the menu on the left side of the screen and make your app public by switching on the trigger "Make name of the app public?" where "name of the app" is the name that you have chosen for your app.

        - Now your app is ready, go to the dashboard on Facebook and you will see app id and secret you need to fill in

Please let me know once you share with me the Integration app settings.

        Best wishes,

        Ning Team.
