As I understand things, the original team sold Ning to Glam/Mode. Mode then failed, and its resources were apparently snapped up at bargain basement rates by BrideClick.
Around the time of the Mode's failure, Ning had made an announcement that their day-to-day operations were going to be taken on by Cyndex, but no one seems sure what if that eventually happened or not.
I can't find anywhere on the web where someone claims ownership of Ning. Am I just searching ineffectively or has it just become a big embarassment?
I'd like to know to whom I'm paying hundreds of dollars each year. Does anyone know?

Surprised that there is no response.
It's odd isn't it. A very short answer from Ning Support would do the trick for me.
I believe the last company i heard about was called Ning Interactive but that has been a while..
Hello Hugh!
According to the announcement we`ve made back in October 2016, "Noosphere is happy to announce that it recently coordinated the successful acquisition of Ning Inc assets. Under the terms of the acquisition, PSCP Holdings Limited acquired the business and will operate it under the newly formed entity Ning Interactive Inc. The Ning brand is an important member of their social discovery division's portfolio of technology assets, and the experienced management of the division will oversee the transition to Ning Interactive Inc."
Best regards,
The NING Team
So, I'm trying to reply as per screenshot below, but you can see what happens. Yet, this reply is allowed. Odd.
Is it the noosphere links it doesn't like? I tried about half a dozen times.
I tried just the urls - it didn't like that either. Am I doing something wrong?
Hello!
I don't think you are doing anything wrong, I also cannot post comments with links. I`ve already asked my colleagues to take a look, hopefully, it can be easily fixed.
Initially, I was trying to link the following post:
Best regards,

Thanks, Anastasia. I rather thought not, but your reassurance is welcome.
Hugh - it's the "https" issue. Ning suddenly won't allow anything to be posted that contains that. And sometimes it won't accept the "www" either. Posting anything that has a web referral is simply a no-go at the moment, and has been for a week. Alas. It appears Ning is struggling hard at the moment, but with the holiday week coming up I suggest not holding your breath waiting for a solution (unless you look good when you turn blue). Okay, a thin joke. But I suspect there are a lot of us out here. The only way I discovered it wasn't just MY site this afternoon was to drop into the creators blog. Go figure. Happy Winter Solstice.
Thanks Janie. (And here’s my part of the collective sigh).
