Thank you for your suggestion! Our Tech Team is currently working on making the SSL certificate renewal process automated, so you won't have to contact our team for manual renewal.
Unfortunately, I do not have any time-frames at the moment, and while it is still under development we can offer to use this link for checking the expiration date of your SSL certificate - https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html

SSL Checker - SSL Certificate Verify
Use this SSL Checker to troubleshoot common SSL Certificate installation problems on your server including verifying that the correct certificate is…
In March 2018, the person who created our account (non-techie but had the credit card) checked the box for "Use SSL for your Network" because it seemed like a good idea. After 3 months, users got a SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE warning saying "certificate expired". Ning support obtained a new SSL certificate a couple hours after they were notified.
SUGGESTION -- Notify users that the SSL certificate is different from the domain name certificate. Better instructions that users should track the expiration date of SSL certificates. Even better would be for Ning to track it - ours was expired for 23 days before we figured it out! Update the various posts and trouble-shooting pages ie: https://creators.ning.com/forum/topics-1/ning-certificate
Hi Leyda,
After you have turned on the SSL, the images would get insecure link first anyway, this should be changed automatically by the system within 10-15 minutes as usual. Please, clear cache and check. Hope it helps.
Best wishes,
Ning Team.
Also any images that I upload to the main page is corrupting the SSL certificate. It looks like doesnt store the images in https address...sorry for my bad english...it would be more easy in spanish

Sure, I have few.
As I can see some files that you are loading on the site are getting loaded through unsecured HTTP protocol which corrupts the SSL certificate and at the same time the content is getting blocked by the browser.
How to find those file or links, that's easy you should open a console in the dev tools of your browser. In Chrome, for example, you can open dev tools by clicking "F12" on your keyboard.
In the console, you will see reports related to the Mixed content. That's exactly what are you looking for.
In your particular case you should definitely reupload the head image once again on your network, disable one extension, and also there are 2 other links which are not familiar to me so I guess it's the 3 rd party embeds. As they have been inserted into the code I would suggest trying to load them through the secure protocol, simply by adding "s" after "http" in the link. If it wouldn't help you can simply remove the embed to fix the breach in security.
If you need my help in all that just let me know I'll be glad to assist.
Hi Leyda!
Since you are using native Ning subdomain I have a good news for you. If you don't use domain mapping to hide the native subdomain there is no need to be on any waiting lists at the moment you can simply activate the https encryption for your domain on the Domain Mapping settings page (this is valid for 3.0 and 2.0 as well). Just go to the dashboard and find the button called "Domain Mapping", and tick "Yes" where it's written "Use SSL for your Network". After don't forget to save the changes, and that's it :-)
If you have some questions please let me know.
Best wishes,
Ning Team.
