I've noticed this. When ever someone new posts a discussion, the activity feed doesn't let us know when it happens. So people don't often realize it's there especially if they are looking at other pages of the site. the activity feed doesn't load on all pages. Particularly the Ning announcements forum, the members page, the groups page and the blogs page. Among others. Just wondering if this is intentional or not.

Maybe it's intentional.

It is not intentional, we would love to show our visitors all the activity and communication on the site, but, unfortunately, the issue with Activity Feed has affected this network as well. Since the development of the re-worked Activity Feed feature is coming soon, our Tech team has made a decision to concentrate all our recourses on this update instead of the fixing something that will be changed a bit later anyway. So we are waiting for the upcoming update.

Makes sense :). I was going to say going into activity feed settings and hitting save changes again after checking all the boxes by first unchecking them and rechecking them has worked in the past.
