Can not answer in the walls of user profiles

My social network of Ning already has 6,000 users, many of them write in the profiles of other users, and of course, there is a problem. You can not answer them ... there is no threaded mode on the walls of user profiles. You can write to someone but you can not answer and no threads are created.

In the walls of the groups you can choose the answer mode but not in the user profiles walls, I think it would be a great idea, for my insurance, that in the walls of the user profiles the threaded mode could be activated.
