Profile question removal?

With ning we can create our own profile questions, however, is there a way to remove or change the text of the mandatory question. In this case upon sign up, it asks for "Full Name" My site is a bunch of writers a roleplayer that collaborate using their character's. We have a custom profile question with a long answer that asks them to tell a bit about themselves. Most of my members if not all, go by their character's names rather than their real name. I'd like to change this text to 'Character name' or remove it all together and add my own profile question. Is this possible? - This was the default question upon starting up the site, and one I can't find a way to remove. Thanks ahead of time

  • Hello!

When you need to change some part of the default text on the site - please check the Language Editor http://take.ms/VOsKhy

Put on a search bar the text you would like to edit and you will be presented with the cases where the text is used. On the left side you can see the default usage, on the right side you can put customized text - http://take.ms/cqqxk

Here in the Language Editor, you can also modify the text of the notifications that your members receive automatically.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards,

    The NING Team
