so since my site used an inset box shadow just about everywhere as my main styling tweak i was very disapointed by the way it looked in safari
but heres the thing about box shadows..your not limited to just 1
so you can have a standard or outset box shadow and an unset 1
in fact, if you want to get really fancy you can do multiple with multiple colors multiple offsets etc and it layers 1 ontop of another
heres a simple example
without browser compatabilty
box-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #cccccc, 0.1em 0.3em 0.9em #cccccc inset;
with browser compatability
-weblit-box-shadow:0.1em 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #cccccc, 0.1em 0.3em 0.9em #cccccc inset;-moz-box-shadow:0.1em 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #cccccc, 0.1em 0.3em 0.9em #cccccc inset;box-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #cccccc, 0.1em 0.3em 0.9em #cccccc inset;
now thats all i did in my site added a regular and inset box shadow made the regular 1 lil more subtle to not take away from the inset ..its motly there for when \inset cant display
but just for fun i want to show ya an example of what can be done to layer diferent colors diferent sizes etc
box-shadow:0.1em 0.1em 0.1em red,0.1em 0.2em 0.3em blue,0.1em 0.2em 0.3em 0.4em green,0.1em 0.2em 0.4em 0.9em yellow inset;
this code gives u this effect
notice how u can layer shadow ontop of shadow o can adjust the ofsets and spread and color to get some cool effects
