Preface

I am not encouraging anyone to migrate. I’m simply letting you know what you are up against in 2026.  However, I am getting more and more calls from creators asking about ways to migrate.   What I am about the share is as much for the creator

Ning 3.0 is antisocial!

My opinion:

Groups are neglected because no updates about new members are shown in the activity feed.

The same goes for member profiles. Member comments are not shown. And all activity disappears into invisibility. Only new friends are noticed.

Has Anyone Ever Built an Application using the Ning API

I am trying to find just one working example of an app or utility that runs with the Ning API.

No matter what I do, I cannot seem to connect to the API for my community.  I am trying to build a tool but the authentication breaks.

Ning Support phone number for my 20 yr old site
